Hello From the Prairies!

Hey Gals! Well it's been forever so I thought I should resurrect the blog. I just rediscovered and man was it cool to see everyone's work again. I miss you all so damn much. Maybe this could be a way to share again??

IMAGES ON PAPER SHOW

HEY, I just got selected for the 5th "Images on paper" traveling show by Canson. They selected 30 images out of 400, so "I feel good!". I don't have a decent picture of it yet, but it's a bunch of toy soldiers walking towards a pile of fallen ones. the title is "Mirage" and it will travel through Chile until the end of the year.

ONE GOT FAT

Hello all, I am not a big fan of Youtube, but every now and then I stumble upon things worth sharing. Please make yourselves comfy and follow the link below, with this very fancy introduction that should make your mouths water.
Monkey kisses, Vera.

Just a little something...

Hi Ladies!!

Seeing as though I haven't contributed anything to this blog yet, I decided to add this on.

It's part of a piece that I did for the AGO's 'Off the Wall' Children's Gallery. Thanks again Meghan for the recommendation!!!

I posted a picture of the final piece on my blog page (the lighting kind of sucks though). It was a fun project to work on. I kinda wish everyone else was in it.

Miss you ladies!

SHOES FOR THE ITALIANOS!

I got asked to create a couple of signs for the opening of an italian restaurant. They needed it for the bathroom doors and the owner wanted it to be about shoes. Here's what I made (Don't ask me how I am always landing these bizarre projects...).

Hi Guys,

It took me about 40 min. to figure out how to get back on this blogger wagon! I might have inadvertantly sent you all some eblogger message thing, in which case, my apologies. I haven't contributed any illustrations yet but I did want to share an oil painting I finished recently. The hands are meant to represent either receiving or giving a gift. I definitely need to adjust the colour on my computer screen so I'm not sure if you fine ladies will be seeing this in the appropriate colouring. Anyway, I love what I'm seeing on the blog (but man, that's an ugly word).
